Forum will address vaping epidemic

All area residents are invited to an informational forum on vaping on Wednesday, December 4 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Simsbury Public Library.

State Rep. John Hampton (D-Simsbury) and Connecticut Attorney General William Tong are co-hosting the event.

Vaping — especially among young people — has been blamed for a variety of illnesses as well as some deaths in recent months. The forum is designed to inform the public about the risks involved with vaping.

In addition to Hampton and Tong, panelists have been invited to attend from the Farmington Valley Health District, UConn Health and other stakeholders.
